Insight Leaf Care
At Insight Leaf Care, our goal is to do medical marijuana differently, by providing a level of knowledge, attentiveness and service typically reserved for patients in a concierge style primary care practice.
Insight Leaf Care is a medical marijuana practice located in Brandon, FL. Our experienced, knowledgeable physician has been certified by the Florida Office of Medical Marijuana’s Use Registry (“the Registry”) as qualified to provide the evaluations and recommendations required for new medical marijuana patient certifications and existing patient renewals.
Once Insight Leaf Care’s physician has completed your evaluation and recommended that you be certified for medical marijuana, our friendly staff will guide you through the state’s online application process. At that point, Insight Leaf Care’s own certified cannabis consultant will happily assist you in finding the dispensary and medical marijuana product(s) that work best for you.

Dr. Chris Nussbaum is Insight Leaf Care’s founder and medical director. He has over thirty years’ experience practicing medicine in the Brandon community, and is recognized as a highly skilled, experienced Internist and Fellow of Hospital Medicine. Dr. Nussbaum became certified by the Florida Office of Medical Marijuana Use Registry as a physician qualified to recommend medical marijuana, and founded Insight Leaf Care, in order to offer patients interested in medical marijuana a level of knowledge, attentiveness and concierge style service not typically found at other medical marijuana practices. Complete your evaluation at Insight Leaf Care (bring any relevant medical records with you).
3. Submit Info to Registry
Following your evaluation, Insight Leaf Care’s staff will enter your name, ID and recommendation into
Florida’s on-line registry.
4. Apply for Certification
After entering your information into Florida’s on-line registry, Insight Leaf Care’s staff will use the link you immediately receive back to help you apply on-line for your Certification.
5. Receive Certification
Once you receive email notice that you have been Certified with Florida’s on-line registry (typically within 1-2 weeks), Insight Leaf Care will help you order your medicine.
